Wait What — Nas’d Out CD Release Party [Loft]

9 p.m. — 2 a.m.  $8 pre-sale / $10 on the door

18 months ago, I released a record, made a facebook page, and sent it to a couple friends. Two weeks later, it had one million downloads, and I’ve been able to play shows in Toronto for Fashion Week, at clubs in Rwanda and Thailand, and at Giants Stadium at a festival with Lil Wayne. It’s been over a year since I’ve played a show in SF, but this Thursday, that changes.

To celebrate the release of the new album, nasd out, which matches up Nas and Washed Out, I’ll be headlining a show at Public Works. This venue is an awesome space with enough room to move, a good bar, and great sound, located right in the Mission, the unofficial capital in SF of hipster tunes and hip hop classics. I’m really excited to play my first hometown show in a long time, my man Will is playing drums, and we should have some awesome drink specials and some cool openers.

Want to get a live crowd, so tickets are cheap (and I’m covering your convenience fees — what you see is what you pay) : pre-sale tickets for $8, and you can get a shirt for $4 more or an album and shirt for $8 more. Limited quantities, and once pre-sale is over, tickets go up to $10, with shirt + ticket for $15, shirt, ticket, and album for $20.

Also, Stanford/Penninsula people — we’ll have a party bus from Stanford to SF and back for $25 pp, which includes a show ticket.

Bring friends, and let’s set things off at Public Works — it’s going to be a awesome!
